Today, your gift to the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences has the opportunity to make an even bigger impact!
To help jump start One Day for STATE, Fred and Joan will contribute $5,000 once 50 donors make a gift to the college. In giving to this challenge, the DeRoucheys attribute their decision to an “attitude of gratitude” for the education Fred received in livestock production at SDSU. And speaking of gratitude, we’re so grateful for your support!
Let's keep the momentum going!
After the first challenge has been met, First Dakota National Bank has generously offered to help us raise the bar – with $10,000 provided when we reach our next 85 donors!
Nate Franzen, President of the Agri-Business Division, states, “First Dakota National Bank and the first Dakota Agri-Business Division understands the importance of higher education. We are fortunate in South Dakota to have South Dakota State University, with all the great learning programs and colleges. The College continues to lead the way in developing the knowledge and technology for these industries. We are proud to have many SDSU alumni as part of our First Dakota team, and that pride carries on with our support of One Day for STATE.”
First Dakota’s core strength lies with their highly skilled and motivated employees who are committed to not only doing the right thing, but doing things right. First Dakota is recognized as a leader in providing lending services to business and agriculture.
Let’s follow their lead in generosity, Jacks!
And why stop there!
These loyal friends of the CAFES are here to help your gift go further! Their generosity will support the Dean’s Excellence Funds for the college held near and dear to their hearts. These donors feel grateful for the education and experiences they received at SDSU, and they want others to benefit from the same opportunities.
Thank you to these generous friends of the college who are leading this challenge: Terry (’77) and Sandi (’76) Jaspers, Monte and Ruth Mason, Vern (’70) and (’80) and Jan (’70) Anderson, Monte (’80) and Ruth Mason.
These gracious individuals will donate $7,500 when we reach an additional 65 donors.
With their gift, we can elevate the impact of the CAFES!
We’re not through yet, Jacks!
The Jacobsons chose to donate to One Day for STATE to show that current Jackrabbits have an entire community standing behind them, no matter what. Don (’72) and Helen created their challenge in honor of Don’s time studying animal science-business.
The next 50 donors will unlock $5,000 from the Jacobsons. With their gift, your gift goes further!
That’s $27,500 unlocked by 250 donors for the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences! Together, we can do this!
